Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: December 1st, 2025
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the services provided by Hopeful Hands, a non-medical home care agency, and the relationship between the agency and its clients. By engaging our services, clients agree to the following terms:
1. Services Provided

Helpful Hands provides non-medical home care services, including personal assistance, companionship, homemaking, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation, and related support.

Services are outlined in the Service Agreement and customized care plan for each client.
2. Client Responsibilities

Provide accurate and complete information regarding health, mobility, allergies, medications, and other relevant personal information.

Notify Helpful Hands promptly of any changes that may affect care or safety.

Treat caregivers with respect and provide a safe environment for care.
3. Scheduling & Attendance
-
Services are scheduled in advance and documented in the care plan.

Clients must notify Helpful Hands of cancellations or rescheduling at least 24 hours in advance, whenever possible.

Helpful Hands reserves the right to adjust schedules in cases of emergency, caregiver illness, or unforeseen circumstances.
4. Payment Terms

Services are billed according to the Service Agreement.

Payment is due upon receipt unless otherwise arranged in writing.

Late payments may result in suspension of services until the account is current.
5. Liability

Helpful Hands maintains liability insurance; however, the agency is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or incidents that occur due to pre-existing conditions, client negligence, or circumstances outside the agency’s control.

Clients assume responsibility for safety in their home environment and for following caregiver instructions.
6. Confidentiality

All personal and health-related information provided to Helpful Hands will be kept confidential in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
7. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate services with written notice.

Helpful Hands may terminate services immediately if:

The client poses a safety risk to caregivers

There is repeated non-payment
-
There is harassment, abuse, or unsafe behavior

8. Changes to Terms

Helpful Hands reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
9. Acknowledgment
By receiving services from Helpful Hands, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
